Metal Building Kits in Lubbock, TX
Buying a kit and putting it up yourself, or with a crew you hire.
A metal building kit is the steel part of the building, shipped by truck to your land. In the order you'll usually find the frame, the roof and wall panels, the trim, and all the screws. Most kits come with drawings too.
What you won't find is the slab. The anchor bolts aren't included either, because they have to be cast into the concrete. Instead, the kit maker sends a bolt plan that shows exactly where each one goes, and your concrete crew needs to follow it closely.
Some owners put a kit up themselves, while plenty of others hire an erection crew to do it. Either way, it really helps to know who is handling each part of the job before the steel truck pulls up.

Questions people ask
Does a kit include the foundation?
No. Concrete, rebar and site work are separate. So are the anchor bolts.
Can I put up a kit myself?
Some people do. Big frames need lifting gear and a crew. Be honest about what you can handle.
Do I still need a permit?
Inside city limits, almost always. Check with the city or town where the land is.
